Bruschetta
Ingredients
- 4-5 tomatoes (roma, campari)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1-2 cloves garlic, grated
- 4-5 basil leaves, chopped
- baguette slices, toasted
- goat cheese
- 2-3 tbsp balsamic glaze
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Begin by preparing the tomato basil mixture. Dice up the fresh tomatoes and add them to a bowl. Freshly chop some basil and combine it with the tomatoes. Microplane or finely chop the garlic and add it to the bowl as well. Drizzle in about a tablespoon of quality olive oil, then season with fresh cracked pepper and flaky salt to taste. Set this mixture aside to marinate, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Toast slices of your favorite bread, such as sourdough, until they are golden and crispy.
- To assemble the bruschetta, generously spread goat cheese over each slice of toasted bread. Top the goat cheese with a generous portion of the tomato and basil mixture. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and enjoy immediately
